Life Science, BMET, Mr/Mrs Fix It PA

Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for someone who is good at fixing things and is a great communicator, but cant spend overnights out of town. This world class company is seeking a talented individual to work at a customers facility (in this case, a life science client in Philadelphia). Duties will include the maintenance and repair of laboratory/research based instrumentation; parts inventory management, tracking and completion of preventative maintenance and educating/training the customer. REQUIREMENTS: *Must be based in the Philadelphia area. * Bachelors degree or equivalent in electronics or related technical field; or Associates Degree or equivalent in Electronics or related technical field and 3+ years experience servicing electronic equipment in the field. * Strong computer competency with solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP). At least one year experience using Microsoft Office. * Must be able to clearly identify small components during troubleshooting and repair. * Must be able to read electronic schematics. * Understand the proper use of Digital Multimeters, pressure gauges, scales, and similar troubleshooting tools. If you have an A.A. or B.S. in electronics (perhaps a BMET or CBET) and an interest in an assets management program, this is the job for you!
